DBSA 2010 National Conference
Celebrating 25 Years of Peer Support
April 29-May 2, 2010
Eaglewood Resort & Spa
Itasca, IL (Chicago suburb)

We got our start 25 years ago with people like YOU—peers who wanted to be there for each other as they traveled the road to recovery. So, in 2010, we’re going back to our roots—our grassroots—and celebrating, with a one-of-a-kind conference, something that’s absolutely crucial to recovery—peer support.

It’s our 25th anniversary, and to truly celebrate a quarter of a century of peer support, we need the people who make it all happen—YOU!

This is a Special Conference!
--Celebrates our 25th Anniversary
--Starts earlier this year - in the spring
--Hosted in our home state of Illinois
--Hosted at a resort where you can renew and refresh

2009 ATTENDEE COMMENTS: (View more)

"This was the most important experience I have had since I was first diagnosed -- I finally found others who understood -- even without having to say a thing.  I don't feel so alone." ---- 2009 Conference Attendee

"The conference turned out to be much, much, much better than what I expected.  The speakers, the workshops were fantastic.  I have a better understanding of my son's illness.  Thank you!" ---- 2009 Conference Attendee

"Ever since my burnout / breakdown / whatever, I have felt like a bad person who was too weak and stupid to prevent this from happening.  I've given up a coveted coordinator position for our school system and my consulting and training position for a national reading company.  I've felt tossed around by the system as though I had no choice.  This conference has empowered me to go back and hold my head up high and stand up for my rights as an individual.  I've been inspired by the stories of successful return to productivity." ---- 2009 Conference Attendee
